Two student teams from Bilkent LAUD competed at the 15th LE:NOTRE Landscape Forum International Student Competition in Guimarães, Portugal. Both projects were developed as part of LAUD 422, Processing Urban Design Competitions, offered by Dr. Oktan Nalbantoğlu, where students take a real international competition as the ground for their work.
Co-Couros
The Co-Couros team took on a direct question: who really owns the urban landscape. Their proposal reimagines the Costa-Couros river corridor as a space of negotiation and co-creation between natural and human systems, held and cared for collectively rather than controlled from a single center.

Weaving of Time
The Weaving of Time team took Guimarães's textile heritage as a conceptual thread, proposing a landscape framework that stitches together green corridors, water systems and local production along the Costa-Couros axis.
